The finals of the Regents Park netball season took place on Monday night and it was a successful night all round with the Ladies team taking the title with a scorching 25-14 win over the previously undefeated Susan's Textiles. 🏆🏐🏆
In the mixed final we were guaranteed a trophy with both Lions teams coming up against each other. In a remarkable twist, the Jimmy Reds and the Yellow Seagulls played out a 20 all draw and with no extra time a joint title was awarded.
But we all know this couldn't do, so in true Lions style the teams went off to the pub to have a title deciding boat race which the Reds took out. Deserved winners after going undefeated through the season.
Over at Angel, the Lionesses bounced back with a 28-11 win over Nets Do It to move into second place with one match to go before the semi finals.
