The club has come away with three victories at Bounds Green 3️⃣🏉
The day started on a great note with the women claiming their first victory of the season. They got the jump on the South East London Giants and never let up, running away with a big 79-point victory, 11.14 (80) to 0.1 (1).
The Men's Conference team took to the field next, also looking to open their account for season 2021. We took a 20 points lead into the half time break, and kept the Giants at bay through the season half, taking home the chocolates 9.7 (61) to 6.4 (40).
The day finished with our undefeated Men's Premiership team knowing that a win over the West London Wildcats would book their spot in the grand final. Things didn't go to plan at the start with the Wildcats kicking five consecutive first term goals on their way to a 16-point half-time lead. The boys showed some serious heart after the main break, managing to turn the deficit into a 13-point lead half way through the final term. West London kicked one more goal to tighten things, but our Lions held strong for an 8.10 (58) to 7.7 (49) victory. Grand final here we come.
