Great to be back at the home of football in London for the first time for an AFL London round in a long time.
The day saw our Men's Premiership team follow up their impressive Round 1 victory with another top shelf performance, this time defeating the Wandsworth Demons in style. After a tight tussle at the start of the match we went to the first break with a slender 1-goal lead. The foot was then put right to the floor through the middle two quarters as we held a 54-point lead when the 3 quarter time siren rang. That would remain the final margin as we ran out 14.6 (90) to 5.6 (36) victors.
In the preceding two matches we were unable to come home with any points, but as ever it wasn't through a lack of heart. The Women's Premiership team found the going tough against the Demon's, with Wandsworth winning 10.9 (69) to 0.0 (0). In the Men's Conference, goal kicking was again an issue as we were defeated 6.7 (43) to 1.9 (15).
