What to expect on Saturday?
💰 Where do I find the fundraiser in the park? Look for the Australian flag and the growing group of people in Giants, Hawks, Lions and Swans jumpers and merchandise.
🦁 What do I need to bring? Wear any Lions gear you have and if you can, bring cash for donations and the raffle on the day but electronic payment via iZettle will be available on the day.
🏃♀️ What will be happening in the park? Between 1:00-3:00pm we will be in Victoria Park, close to the Victoria Pub taking part in a number of activities that will pit your skill and wit against your favourite opposition clubs from across London.
🎟️ How does the raffle work? Starting at £5, people will receive multiple tickets (and more for larger purchases) which will put them in the running for an Aussie hamper (thanks Wynnie!), multiple Little Creatures packs, 2 tickets to Jonas Blue (March 5th), 2 tickets to Birmingham City vs Huddersfield Town in the championship (March 22nd), 4 tickets to a live recording of Soccer AM at Sky studios with more prizes to be revealed on the day.
🍹 What happens once the fun is over in the park? Well the fun isn’t over because we will be heading back to The Victoria (110 Grove Rd, Bow, E3 5TH Nearest tube – Mile End) where the raffle will be drawn and lots of fun to be had.
💪 How can you help? We will need some volunteers on the day to help with selling raffle tickets and setting up the games so please get in touch with your various club contacts to let them know you’ll be along to help.
💃 Remember to bring your best form because all proceeds are going to the Australian Bushfire Appeal and a better time equals more cash raised.
