The annual AFL London Pre Season Cup took place on April 22nd. It was the last chance for Clubs to get a taste of footy before Rd 1. The Lions entered both a lads and ladies team, with a load of new Lions putting on the red, black and gold for the first time. A cracking day all round, highlights were the lads making the GF before running out of legs, and the ladies pushing last years GF winners all the way to a 1 point result.
2017 will see a new and updated Lions logo, new Lions playing kit, and loads of new Lions merchandise as well. It's a more modern and 'winning' version of the Lion we all know and love. Surely Grand Final wins will follow... New merch is available now, get in touch on info@northlondonlions.co.uk for an order form.
It's shaping up to be another huge year in London. 4 teams chasing premierships (3 mens plus the Lionesses), and a full year of social events planned. Guys, girls, all nationalities, and all levels of playing experience are welcome at the Lions.
